On August 1, 2018, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded the Environmental Services and Operations (ESO) contract to HelioTech JV, Contract NO: 68HE0118D0014. HelioTech JV is a joint venture comprising Helios Resources, Ltd. and Tetra Tech. The contract encompasses EPA regions 4,5,6,7,8,9,10. The work areas under this ESO contract are separated into seven functional areas (tasks):
- General Requirements
- Field Work and Analytical Support
- EPA-lead Remedy Operations including Long Term Response Action (LTRA)
- Assessment/Inspection Activities
- Oversight or Oversight Support
- EPA-lead Remedial Action or EPA-lead Removal Action Implementation Support
- Other Technical Assistance
This small business set-aside contract has a period of performance of a 5-year base period and one 5-year option and a total capacity of $530 million. The total capacity will be shared among all contract holders.
